Lashes & Brows

Lash and brow services at Ketyswit Beauty are for clients who want to wake up natural beauty without the daily makeup routine. We work on the second floor of T1 Mall at Peterburi tee 2 — in a quiet cabin where the client lies back through 30–45 minutes of treatment without distraction. Three certified specialists use Refectocil and Belmacil EU-made tinting creams plus YumiLashes and LashBrow lamination systems — all registered under EU Cosmetic Regulation 1223/2009. Pricing starts at €15 for brow tinting; the full lash + brow lamination set is €60. Every new client completes a 24-hour patch test before the first tint or lamination — Estonian hygiene regulations require it.

What we offer

Ten rows on the price list cover both single services and combo bundles. Brow tinting €15 is a classic 8–10 minute Refectocil application — result holds 3–4 weeks. Brow tinting + shaping €30 adds shaping (wax or thread tweezing) inside the same session. Lash tinting €15–20 darkens natural lashes for 3–4 weeks — good for clients who don’t want daily mascara. Brow shaping alone €10–15 is a quick shape refresh without tint. Brow + lash tinting + shaping €40–45 is the most-booked combo. Lamination + brow tint €35 and the same for lashes €35 — lamination delivers a brushed-up natural look that holds 5–7 weeks. Combo lash + brow lamination €60 is the best value. Upper lip waxing €5 is an add-on you can book during the consultation.

Patch test and safety

In Estonia, every new client booking a tint or lamination must complete a 24–48 hour patch test before the first session. We apply a small drop of the actual product (Refectocil tint or YumiLashes lifting lotion) on the skin behind the ear; the client checks the next day for redness, itching or swelling. A skin reaction means the eye area would be 10–100× more sensitive to the same chemistry. If the patch test is positive — we do not do the treatment. It’s a tedious step, but every year we catch allergy in five to seven clients (often PPD sensitivity — a stabiliser found in tinting chemistry). After the 24-hour window the client can book a regular appointment; we keep patch-test results on file for six months in our client database.

The lamination process

Lamination on brows or lashes is a 3-step chemistry procedure where hair follicles soften and “magnetise” to the desired shape (lifted lashes) or to the skin direction (defined brows). First we apply a lifting lotion for 6–10 minutes depending on the client’s hair strength — stronger hair, longer dwell. Softened hair gets fixed onto a silicone pad (lashes) or with a shaping brush (brows). Second coat — setting lotion for 6–8 minutes. We finish with a nourishing balm and, if booked, the tinting on the same session. Total session 45–60 minutes. The result keeps developing for 24 hours; the final look shows after one day.

Lash extensions (referral option)

We don’t do classic lash extensions here directly — it’s a separate specialisation with its own training and material base. Our recommended alternative for fuller-looking lashes: lamination + tint (€35), delivering a “natural extension” appearance for 5–7 weeks without single-lash adhesion. If a client really wants extensions, we refer to the T1 area specialised studio whose training is lash extension. Our referral contact is always available after the treatment.

Aftercare after tint or lamination

In the first 24 hours avoid water on the lash or brow area — the chemistry continues setting under the surface. 48 hours no oils or creams (lash oil, brow balm) near the eye — they can weaken the lamination result. Don’t rub or scratch the lashes for three days — set chemistry is sensitive. Skip sauna and hot water for 24 hours. After that week, build the habit of using a nourishing lash oil twice a day (one drop on the finger, then to the lashes, or vitamin E gel) — it keeps lashes strong and extends the lamination lifespan. Contact-lens wearers: remove lenses before the tint, don’t put them back for two hours after the procedure ends.

Why Ketyswit for lashes and brows

EU-made tinting creams only — Refectocil and Belmacil. These are the brands Tallinn medical-cosmetics centres use; not cheap import. Both come in PPD-free ranges for clients with PPD allergy. YumiLashes and LashBrow lamination — two of the best systems on the EU market, certified under EU Reg 1223/2009; we don’t use Russian-market “new system” alternatives that often bring allergy or hair damage. Patch test required for new clients — protects you and us. Separate cabin allows you to lie back for 45 minutes without noise or other clients watching. Long-standing quality at T1 — 60% of clients have been with the same specialist for five-plus years; we tune your favourite tint strength over the years without needing recalibration.

FAQ

Does the patch test cost extra? No, €0 — it’s part of the service. The first visit is a 5-minute free consult to do the test and book the appointment.

Can I do tint + lamination in the same evening? Yes — this is the most-booked combination, 60–90 minutes. Time depends on your hair type.

Can I come in wearing contact lenses? Yes, but remove them before the session and reinsert only two hours after. Dry eyes and chemistry don’t mix.

Is tint or lamination safe during pregnancy? We recommend skipping during the first trimester (organogenesis window). After week 12 most doctors clear it, but check with your own doctor first.

Does lamination damage lashes? No, when done properly and at most every 5–6 weeks. Lamination too often (three-week intervals) can break stronger lashes.

2026 seasonal trends

The 2026 brow trend is “fluffy brow” — brushed-up and natural, with stray hairs allowed to show. Opposite to 2020 contour brows, the look is minimal. Tint tones: dark blond and medium brown range, cool clients lean to ash tones, warm clients to natural. Brow lamination has stuck around as a reliable-result trend — it replaces the pricier microblading for many clients. Lashes: the “natural extension” look dominates 2026 — fluttery, lifted, but natural. Russian-volume layered extensions (which give the full-cover high-volume effect) are losing ground to “less is more”.

Material provenance

Refectocil (Austria-made) has been the tinting industry standard since the 1930s — every tone has 90+ years of skin testing. Belmacil (Germany) is the gentler-allergy option for sensitive clients. YumiLashes and LashBrow lamination (France and Spain) — EU Reg 1223/2009 certified, INCI composition available on request. Lycon Brazilian-style wax (lower-temperature, less skin reaction) for the upper-lip add-on. Sterilisable instrument tips through the autoclave at 134 °C. Single-use cotton applicators, mascara wand tips. We do not stock Chinese or Russian-import brands that often carry alkaline pH and can cause skin irritation.
