What is brow lamination?

Brow lamination is a treatment that sets the hairs in the direction you want and gives them an even, smooth shape. One solution briefly softens the structure of the hair, the stylist combs the hairs into place, and a second solution locks in the new shape. The result is fuller, tidier brows — most noticeable when the hairs naturally grow in different directions or have thinned over time.

Lamination is often confused with tattooing or pigmentation, but it is a far gentler service: the skin is not broken and no permanent colour goes under it. If you like, tinting and shaping are added to the brow lamination so the shape is fully finished.

How does the treatment work?

A single session takes around 45–60 minutes and follows clear steps:

1. Consultation. The stylist looks at your face shape and brow density and agrees with you on the height of the arch and how strong an effect suits you.
2. Cleansing and first solution. The brows are cleaned and a softening solution is applied to prepare the hairs for shaping.
3. Shaping. The hairs are brushed into the chosen direction and held in place.
4. Setting solution. A second solution locks the new shape.
5. Tint and clean-up. If you wish, the brows are tinted and stray hairs are removed for a clean outline.
6. Care. A nourishing oil is applied at the end to help the hairs recover.

The treatment is painless. Most clients describe it as relaxing rather than uncomfortable — many simply rest through the session.

How long does the result last?

The effect of brow lamination lasts on average 6–8 weeks. The exact time depends on how fast your hairs grow and on home care. If your brows are naturally straight and stiff, the shape often holds longer; with very fine hair the effect lasts a little less. We recommend a repeat session roughly every six weeks.

How to care for your brows afterwards?

The first 24 hours matter most. During that time, keep the brows dry and avoid the sauna, the pool and rubbing your face — the solution needs time to set fully. After that, a simple routine is enough:

• Brush your brows each morning to set the shape.
• Apply a nourishing oil a couple of times a week (castor oil works well) — it keeps the hairs healthy and glossy.
• Keep oil-based cleansers off the brows themselves, as they soften the hold.
