Eyebrow lamination in Tallinn
Eyebrow lamination is a chemical treatment that reshapes the direction of your natural brow hairs and holds them upright for 5-7 weeks. The result is a thicker, more even brow look without the daily routine of pencil, gel or pomade. Most clients who book the service have brow hairs that grow in different directions, are uneven in density or have gaps that show through standard grooming.
Ketyswit Beauty performs eyebrow lamination on the second floor of T1 Mall at Peterburi tee 2. We use YumiLashes and LashBrow EU-manufactured lamination systems registered under EU Cosmetic Regulation 1223/2009. The treatment is suitable for any brow hair type regardless of colour or density — it does not damage the hair structure, only opens the cuticle, repositions the hair and closes the cuticle again.
Step-by-step procedure
Each session takes 35-45 minutes and runs in three stages.
Stage one is cleansing and shape planning. The master cleans brows with micellar water, assesses your natural growth direction and agrees on the target shape — either a natural brushed-up look or a more dramatic “power brow”. At this stage we also confirm the result of the patch test you completed 24 hours earlier.
Stage two is the lamination itself. The first lotion opens the hair cuticle for 7-10 minutes. Hairs are combed onto a silicone shaping pad in the chosen direction. The second lotion fixes the new shape for 5-7 minutes. The chemical part lasts 12-17 minutes with eyes closed.
Stage three is nourishment and finishing. A keratin serum restores moisture lost during lamination. You can add tinting with Refectocil cream in the same session for €5 extra. Finally we shape the brows with wax or thread.
Result duration and aftercare
Eyebrow lamination lasts 5-7 weeks depending on your hair growth rate and daily routine. For the first 24 hours, keep brows away from water, sauna, swimming pools and makeup — the chemical fixation needs that window to fully set. After 24 hours you can wash and wear makeup as normal.
For longer-lasting results, apply a drop of nourishing serum (castor oil or a brow-specific serum like RevitaBrow) to the hair roots at night. This keeps hairs flexible and reduces breakage risk. Avoid oil-rich makeup removers directly on the brows and avoid deep facial peels that would irritate the cuticle layer.
After 5-7 weeks the natural hair grows out and the lamination effect fades. You can re-book immediately — no waiting period is needed because lamination does not affect the hair root.
Pricing and combinations
As a standalone treatment, eyebrow lamination costs €35 and includes cleansing, lamination, shaping and the keratin serum. The most popular combination is “Lamination + tinting for brows” at €35, which produces a more even-looking result. The “Eyebrow and lash lamination set” costs €60 and saves €10 versus booking separately.
The patch test is free and mandatory for all new clients 24-48 hours before the first session — this rules out allergic reactions. For returning clients with over 3 months since the last session we may require a fresh patch test depending on previous results.
When lamination is not suitable
Lamination is not performed during pregnancy or breastfeeding — chemical exposure for these groups has not been sufficiently studied. It also does not suit clients with open wounds, active herpes, eczema or psoriasis in the brow area. An allergic reaction to Refectocil tinting also rules out lamination, because we use chemistry from the same family.
If your brow hairs are heavily damaged from previous colouring or chemical treatments, we recommend a 4-6 week castor oil course first — lamination on damaged hair can cause breakage.
Frequently asked questions
Does lamination damage the hair root? No, the treatment affects only the cuticle layer. The hair root stays untouched — new hairs grow in their natural direction.
Can I wear makeup straight after? Not in the first 24 hours. After that, makeup including pencil, pomade or tint is fine.
How often per year is safe? Up to 8 times a year (every 6-7 weeks) is safe and does not damage hair structure long-term.
How is lamination different from tinting? Tinting only changes hair colour, not direction or shape. Lamination lifts hairs upright and adds visible volume. Combined, the result is most complete.
Can I book lash lamination on the same day? Yes, both fit in 80 minutes. The “brow + lash lamination set” at €60 is the best price.
